Recording Information
Comments:
IMPORTANT! This song has MANY little technical aspects, so reading the comments is vital for this piece!
First off, this is a very upbeat song, so using the same theme as Ai no Sono, we should keep the energy level high. However, in this case, we're not aiming for a defiant and independent tone, but a very happy-go-lucky and confident energy.
As you may have noticed, the verses sometimes overlap with the Oi's. This piece, I'll need everyone to submit 2 files.
1.) This first track should include all the "OHI OHI OHI OHI OHI... U CAN DO," "HIGH HIGH HIGH," "Oi!" and "YOU CAN DO"s.
2.) The second track is for the actual singing with no chanting.
Note: The lyrics say OHI for some reason, but just pronounce them as OI's
Do your best in staying in pitch. It gets hard if a song is fast and loud, so try your best!
Poofs and clicks will not be accepted, but if you know how to remove them yourself, go for it :3
Work hard on your solo, as each solo line is essentially representing the lyrics of 6 other singers.
Please do not add echo to your a capella track beforehand if you normally do. I will add it after I finish mixing it to tracks that may or may not need it, but usually, echo is added last as the finishing touch
I would like pronounciation to be correct, as that is the basis for linking it with a video. If you pronounce words differently, the singer in the video's mouth flaps would move strangely when put with the audio.
Again, it's different for everyone but there is an optimal mic distance:
Far enough that you can sing/chant loudly without causing poofs or giant sound waves but close enough so the quality is still good and your voice sounds normal (instead of like sitting in a washroom or giant stadium.
Finally: Have fun!
The unchanged lyrics are: here
NOTE: If there are certain names in brackets in front of white lyrics, it means that group in particular will sing that line. If not noted and the lines are just white, everyone sings.
MP3 can be downloaded: here
We're now running at the same pace as Hana Gumi so it is VITAL that everyone turns in their lines on time. After the second single, the two groups will merge!
Once you're done, you can upload the a capella track on mediafire (or whichever hosting service you use) and send me the link.

um, is it ok if i send it by end of this month rather than up to 26th XD? I have it half done but this weekend I'm going away so I won't be able to record until next coming weekend. (I'm only allowed to sing during weekends... XD)

I totally get that. It's the same situation when my recording stuff is at home and I'm only back on weekends from school as well Just remember that it will stack onto the next momusu piece though, meaning you will have 2 pieces to record at the same time if you pass the deadline.
